The Sonoma County Winegrowers and California Association of Winegrape Growers will present a Smart Marketer Seminar on contracts and liens, a market update and report on State and Federal issues. The Seminar will be held on April 26, from 3-5pm at the Wine Country Hilton on Round Barn Blvd., off Fountaingrove Blvd., in Santa Rosa. Registration check-in begins at 2:30pm.
Dale Stern of Downey Brand and Carol Kingery Ritter from Dickenson Peatman & Fogarty will provide a presentation on contracts & liens, grower’s rights, terms, price determination and quality standards. CAWG President John Aguirre will provide a State and Federal legislative report that includes the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, minimum wage and the Food Safety Modernization Act. Chad Clark of Allied Grape Growers gives a market overview.
There is no charge to attend for growers, vintners, CAWG members or SCW sponsors. All others are $10. Cash or check only at the door.
